Ripe currants, iron, black cherries, graphite, and some meaty, spicy notes all define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied, has flawless balance, ripe, supple tannins, and a great finish. It delivers a rare mix of purity, precision, and opulence that’s something to behold. I like it today, yet it should cruise for another two decades in cold cellars."
