2021 La Pelle Reserve

"Mostly from the St. Helena vineyard, with a little from Coombsville, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve sees a touch more new barrels and spent 20 months in 80% new barrels. It's a legit gorgeous wine that reminds me of some of the old classics from this region. Darker currants, graphite, darker chocolate, ripe tobacco, and dried herbs all define the bouquet, and it's full-bodied, has a tight, compact mouthfeel, beautiful yet building tannins, and a great finish.
