Absolutely gorgeous and the best vintage of this cuvée I've tasted here, the 2023 Flight shows a deep purple, almost opaque hue and offers a stunning perfume of black cherries, cassis, spring flowers, hints of chalky minerality, and liquid violets. It's absolutely brilliant on the palate, with medium to full body, a pure, graceful, layered mouthfeel, silky yet building tannins, and a gorgeous finish. It's one of the finest Merlots I've tasted from Napa and will have 20-25 years of longevity. Drink 2025-2050.
