The 2023 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Scents of crème de cassis, plum preserves, and dark chocolate jump from the glass, followed by fragrant suggestions of sandalwood, cardamom, and peppermint. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with bold black fruit and savory/earthy flavors, supported by firm, wonderfully ripe tannins and a refreshing line, finishing with epic length. The fruit for this wine comes from Abreu's Las Posadas.
